Tom Wight
Director of Business Development
Tom Wight is the Director of Business Development for BWC Solutions. Tom retired from a distinguished thirty-year career in federal law enforcement, earning a promotion to the upper echelon of the U.S. Marshals Service, retiring as Deputy Assistant Director. He is a recognized security and protection expert and a dynamic leader of national law enforcement programs in judicial security, tactical operations, and witness security. Tom is a leader of organizational change, conducting large-scale strategic planning and risk management across a wide range of security and protection operations both domestically and abroad. He led the development and application of organizational risk management strategies in both federal law enforcement operations, and corporate global security and investigations. He has overseen the development of processes to identify, analyze, and evaluate potential risks, and applied resources and measures to monitor, control, and mitigate organizational risk.
Tom led the U.S. Marshals Service national program office for the agency’s primary mission protecting the federal judicial process in ninety-four judicial districts throughout the United States and its territories. He served as the U.S. Marshals Service Senior Executive and principal advisor to agency leadership on all matters relating to several National Program Offices - Office of Crisis Services, Office of Emergency Management, Office of Security Programs, Office of Strategic Technology, Special Operations Group, and National Stockpile Security Operations. Tom led the U.S. Marshals Service Witness Security Program providing oversight and accountability for management of all facets of the world-renowned program.
Most recently, Tom served as Director of Security in the Global Security & Investigations Unit of a Fortune 500 financial technology company with overall responsibility for ensuring the safety and security of all company assets, employees, and operations within assigned regional geographic area(s) of responsibility.
